Why build products at all.

An industry does not change because one company inside it gets better software. It changes when the tools change for everyone.

Engineering custom systems for a living shows you an industry from the inside. The same structural gaps appear at company after company, and closing one of them per engagement moves one company — while the sector carries the problem unchanged.

Where the problem belongs to the industry rather than to one business, the answer is a platform: built once, built to the same standard as anything we deliver under contract, and made available to every organisation and every person that sector depends on.

That is what this side of the company is for — the same engineering, aimed at everyone the problem touches.
